The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released Advertisement No. 05/2026 for the recruitment of Sweeper / Safai Karamchari and Chowkidar posts under the District & Sessions Courts, Delhi. This drive aims to fill 25 Group 'C' vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Essential: Matriculation pass (Class 10th) or equivalent from a recognized board.

• Note: No prior work experience is required.

2. Age Limit (as on June 1, 2026)

• Age Range: 18 to 27 years (Candidates must have been born between June 2, 1999, and June 1, 2008).

• Age relaxations: Applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen) as per Delhi government norms.

Pay Scale & Application Fee

• Pay Scale: Level-2 / Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2,000 (Group 'C').

• Application Fee: ₹100/- payable online via SBI e-pay.

  • Exemption: Women candidates, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen are completely exempt from the fee.

Selection Process

1. Objective / MCQ Test (100 Marks): A bilingual (English and Hindi) computer-based test covering English Language (25 marks), Hindi Language (25 marks), General Knowledge including Current Affairs (25 marks), and Arithmetic (25 marks).

   • Duration: 120 minutes (160 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates).

   • Qualifying Marks: 50% for UR/EWS and 45% for OBC (Delhi)/SC/ST/PwBD/ESM.

2. Interview (15 Marks): Candidates who qualify the MCQ test and rank high in merit will be shortlisted (up to 10 times the number of vacancies) for an interview.

3. Document Verification / e-Dossier: Final merit will be formulated combining the MCQ and Interview scores.

How to Apply Online

1. Visit the official DSSSB OARS portal at dsssbonline.nic.in starting October 13, 2026.

2. Register using the One-Time Registration (OTR) module if you are a new user.

3. Log in with your generated credentials and navigate to apply for Advertisement No. 05/2026.

4. Fill out the application form carefully and upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature.

5. Pay the application fee online and submit the final form before November 11, 2026 (11:00 PM). Keep a hard copy printout for your records.
