Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Diploma in Civil Engineering (or a recognized equivalent qualification).
Computer Knowledge: Basic computer operational knowledge as per Gujarat state government rules.
Language: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi (or both).

2. Age Limit (as of 29/10/2026)

General / UR: 18 to 33 years
Upper Age Relaxations:
- General Female: Up to 38 years (+5 years)
- Reserved Male (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS): Up to 38 years (+5 years)
- Reserved Female: Up to 43 years (+10 years)
- PwD / Ex-Servicemen: As per state government rules

Selection & Examination Pattern

Selection is based on a Single-Stage Competitive Written Exam (210 Marks / 210 Questions, Duration: 3 Hours):

Part A (General Knowledge & Aptitude - 90 Marks):
- Reasoning & Data Interpretation: 30 Marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 30 Marks
- Indian Constitution, Current Affairs, Gujarati & English Comprehension: 30 Marks
Part B (Technical Knowledge - 120 Marks):
- Civil Engineering Subject Specific Questions: 120 Marks
Negative marking: One-fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for an incorrect answer.
