GTDC Technical Assistant Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of practical experience in Civil Engineering works.

• Technical & Language Skills:

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD

  • Essential: Knowledge of Konkani

  • Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi

• Domicile Condition: Valid 15-year Goa Residence Certificate issued by the Mamlatdar (except for specified government-exempted categories).

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years (as of 17 November 2026). Relaxable up to 5 years for existing Project Cell employees.

GTDC Technical Assistant Step-by-Step Selection Procedure

1. Initial Screening of Applications: Applications received by the 17 November 2026 deadline are scrubbed for completeness, valid 15-year Goa residency proof, and basic eligibility requirements.

2. Shortlisting Candidates: Eligible applicants meeting all essential qualifications (B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, 5 years practical experience, AutoCAD certificate, and Konkani proficiency) are shortlisted.

3. Dispatch of Interview Call Letters: Call letters detailing the interview date, time, and venue at Panaji are sent via Registered A/D Post to shortlisted candidates. (The official interview schedule is also published on the GTDC portal).

4. On-Site Document Verification & Oral Interview: Candidates appear before the selection committee on the scheduled date for document verification and an oral interview.

GTDC Technical Assistant Assessment Criteria for the Oral Interview

The selection committee evaluates candidates during the oral interview based on four primary areas:

Local Exposure & Administration	Familiarity with local Goa building codes, tender procedures, site logistics, and public sector execution protocols.
