Discipline Total Posts Minimum Educational Qualification
Graduate Apprentice 174 Regular Full-Time Graduate Degree (B.A / B.Com / B.Sc / BBA, etc.) with min. 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Technician Apprentice 99 3-year Regular Full-Time Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, Electronics) with min. 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Trade Apprentice (ITI) 40 Class 10th (Matriculation) + 2-year Regular ITI in relevant trade (Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Instrument Mechanic, etc.) recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
Data Entry Operator (DEO) 22 Class 12th pass (Fresher or holding a Skill Certificate in Domestic DEO) with min. 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Note: Candidates with higher professional qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA, or LLB are not eligible to apply.

👤 Age Limit (as on 30.09.2026)

  • General / UR / EWS: 18 to 24 years

  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Up to 27 years (+3 years relaxation)

  • SC / ST: Up to 29 years (+5 years relaxation)

  • PwBD: Up to 34 years (+10 years relaxation)

⚙️️ Selection Process

  • No Written Exam & No Interview: Selection is based purely on a merit list prepared from marks obtained in the essential qualifying examination.

  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification and a Pre-Engagement Medical Examination.

💻 Step-by-Step Registration & Application Guide

Applications are accepted only online via official portal registration. Candidates must register on the designated portal depending on their stream:

1.Determine Your Correct Portal & Establishment ID:Ensure you apply on the right portal for your qualification.

  • Technician (Diploma) & Graduate Apprentices: Register on the NATS Portal (nats.education.gov.in).

    • IOCL Establishment ID: WMHMCC000053

  • Trade Apprentices (ITI) & Data Entry Operators (12th Pass): Register on the NAPS Portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).

    • IOCL Establishment ID: E01172700332

2.NATS Registration Process (Diploma & Graduate):For B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, and Diploma Engineers.

  1. Visit nats.education.gov.in and click on Student Registration / Sign Up.

  2. Enter your valid email address and mobile number to receive the OTP.

  3. Complete the enrollment form with personal details, educational qualifications, and bank account credentials.

  4. Upload required documents: Aadhaar card, Degree/Diploma provisional/final certificate, marksheets, and passport photo.

  5. Submit the registration form. Your unique 16-digit Enrollment ID will be generated upon profile verification.

3.NAPS Registration Process (ITI & DEO):For ITI certificate holders & Class 12th pass candidates.

  1. Visit apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and click on Candidate Register.

  2. Fill in basic details (Name, Father's Name, DOB, Email, Mobile Number) and create a password.

  3. Verify your registration via the activation link sent to your email.

  4. Log in and complete your E-KYC using Aadhaar.

  5. Update profile details, upload candidate photo, signature, Class 10th/12th marksheets, and ITI certificate to achieve a 100% profile completion score.

4.Apply for IOCL Western Region Opportunity:Search by Establishment ID before November 4, 2026 (5:00 PM).

  1. Log in to your verified account on NATS or NAPS.

  2. Go to Establishment Search / Opportunity Search.

  3. Type the appropriate Establishment Name (Indian Oil Corporation Limited Marketing Division Western Region) or Establishment ID (WMHMCC000053 for NATS / E01172700332 for NAPS).

  4. Select your state/trade discipline code and click Apply.

  5. Save or print the confirmation application form for document verification reference.
