JKSSB Junior Engineer Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

  • 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute/University, OR

  • B.E. / B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering, OR

  • AMIE Section (A & B) in Civil Engineering.

2. Domicile Requirement

  • Candidates must possess a valid Jammu & Kashmir Domicile Certificate.

3. Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

  • Open Merit (OM): Upper limit of 40 years

  • SC / ST-1 / ST-2 / RBA / ALC-IB / EWS / OBC: Upper limit of 43 years

  • Physically Challenged (PwBD): Upper limit of 42 years
