Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has released the recruitment notification (Advt No. DE/ALP/01/2026) for 66 vacancies of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Senior Assistant Loco Pilot (Sr. ALP) on a deputation basis.

Eligibility Criteria & Pay Matrix

Eligibility	Must be holding the post of ALP or Sr. ALP in the regular cadre of Indian Railways.
Educational Qualification	Matriculation/10th + ITI / Act Apprenticeship in relevant trades, OR 10+2 Science, OR Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering.
Medical Standard	A1 Medical Classification fit for Running Staff duties.
Upper Age Limit	Maximum 45 years (as on September 22, 2026).
Pay Level	7th CPC Level-2 (ALP) / Level-4 (Sr. ALP) + Deputation (Duty) Allowance as applicable.

Selection Process

Shortlisting & APAR Evaluation: Applications are evaluated based on service credentials, eligibility, and last 5 years of APAR gradings.
Clearances: Verification of No Objection Certificate (NOC), Vigilance, and DAR clearance forwarded by the parent Zonal Railway unit.
