The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (LAHD-SSRB), Leh has officially released Advertisement Notice No. 02 of 2026 for 216 vacancies across various Non-Gazetted departments.

LAHDC SSRB Qualification & Post Breakdown

The 216 vacancies are split across Matriculation (10th), 10+2 (Higher Secondary), and Graduate level posts:

1. Matriculation Level (129 Posts)

• Driver Grade-II: 10th pass + LMV Driving License with Transport Endorsement.

• Technician-III (Various Trades): 10th pass + 2-year ITI / NTC / STC in relevant trade.

• Work Supervisor-I: 10th pass + 1-year trade certificate in Mason / Work Supervisor.

• Support Staff (Orderly / Chowkidar / Attendant / Safaiwala / Mali): 10th pass from a recognized board.

2. 10+2 Level (66 Posts)

• Village Level Worker (VLW) / MPW: 10+2 pass.

• Junior Nurse / FMPHW / MPHW: 10+2 + GNM Diploma / B.Sc Nursing / MPW Training Diploma.

• Junior Pharmacist: 10+2 Science + Pharmacy Diploma/Degree.

• Other Health Support (Dental, Medical Record, X-ray Assistant): 10+2 Science + relevant diploma.

3. Graduate Level (21 Posts)

• Junior Assistant / Ledger Clerk: Bachelor’s Degree + 6-month Computer Course (or 200 hours) + minimum typing speed of 35 wpm.

• Patwari: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.

LAHDC SSRB Age Limit (As of 1 Jan 2026)

• General / Unreserved: 18 to 40 years (Born between 01-01-1986 and 01-01-2008).

• Reserved Categories (ST/ALC/EWS/Govt Service): Relaxation applicable up to 43–45 years as per UT Ladakh rules.

LAHDC SSRB Selection Process Overview

The selection is conducted strictly based on merit according to the following stages:

1. Written Examination: Mandatory for all posts.

2. Skill / Practical Test (Qualifying):

   • Junior Assistant / Ledger Clerk: Computer Typing Test (Minimum 35 wpm speed required).

   • Driver Grade-II: Driving & Practical Vehicle Test.

   • Technician / Technical Support Posts: Practical Trade Test (where specified in rules).

3. Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates (usually in a 1:20 ratio for <= 5 posts, or 1:10 ratio for > 5 posts) are called to verify original Domicile, Category, and Academic certificates.

LAHDC SSRB Exam Pattern

The written exam will be conducted in CBT (Computer-Based), TBT (Tablet-Based), or OMR Mode.

Key Exam Rules:

• Duration: 90 Minutes (1 Hour 30 Minutes). Scribe candidates get 120 Minutes.

• Question Format: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

• Medium of Exam: English.

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 20% of total marks.

LAHDC SSRB Topic-Wise Detailed Syllabus

The standard topics remain consistent, but the depth and difficulty level match the minimum prescribed qualification for the post (Matriculation, 10+2, or Graduation).

1. General Intelligence & Reasoning

• Verbal: Analogies, Similarities & Differences, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Syllogism, Direction Sense, Series (Number/Alphabet), Ranking, Statement-Inferences.

• Non-Verbal: Space Visualization, Spatial Orientation, Venn Diagrams, Embedded Figures, Paper Folding & Unfolding, Pattern Completion, Mirror & Water Images.

2. General Awareness

• Current Affairs: National & International events, Schemes, Sports, Books & Authors, Awards.

• Ladakh Special GK: Geography, History, Culture, Administration, Rivers, Passes, and Socio-Economic developments of UT Ladakh & Leh District.

• Static GK: Indian History, Art & Culture, Geography, Indian Polity & Constitution, Economy, General Science & Everyday Scientific Research.

3. Quantitative Aptitude

• Matric & 10+2 Level: Number System, Decimals & Fractions, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Averages, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Discount, Mixture & Alligation.

• Graduate Level (Includes Advanced Math): Elementary Algebra, Linear Equations, Geometry (Triangles, Circles, Tangents), Mensuration (2D & 3D Shapes), Trigonometry (Heights & Distances), Data Interpretation (Bar Graph, Pie Chart, Histograms).

4. English Language

• Grammar & Usage: Tenses, Subject-Verb Agreement, Articles, Prepositions, Active & Passive Voice, Direct & Indirect Speech.

• Vocabulary: Synonyms, Antonyms, Idioms & Phrases, One-Word Substitutions, Spelling Correction.
