Patwari (Divyang) Vacancy - 200 Posts

All 200 Patwari posts under this notification are reserved exclusively for Divyang (persons with disabilities) candidates, distributed across districts of Madhya Pradesh. Disability categories are EH (hearing impaired), LD (locomotor disability), and MD (multiple disabilities) - each category gets 2% horizontal reservation (6% total). Visually impaired candidates are not eligible for the Patwari post, as per the Revenue Department's order dated 11 May 2009. MPESB Group 2 Subgroup 4 Eligibility & Qualification 2026

Patwari (Divyang) Eligibility

  • Must be an Indian citizen and a local resident (domicile) of Madhya Pradesh
  • A graduation degree from a recognized university
  • A valid CPCT (Computer Proficiency Certification Test) score card, including Hindi typing and computer proficiency. Candidates who have not cleared CPCT at the time of application must clear it within 3 years of the probation period after appointment, failing which the appointment will be cancelled
  • Must hold a Divyang (disability) certificate issued by a competent authority, in the categories eligible for this post: hearing impaired (EH), locomotor disability (LD), or multiple disabilities (MD). Visually impaired candidates are not eligible for the Patwari post
  • Must be registered with the Madhya Pradesh Employment Office (Rozgar Karyalay)

MPESB Patwari & Group 2 Subgroup 4 Salary 2026

Patwari: Pay scale is ₹5,200–20,200 with Grade Pay ₹2,100. For directly recruited candidates, salary during the first three years will be paid as per Madhya Pradesh General Administration Department circular No. C.3-13/2019/3/One, dated 12 December 2019.

MPESB Group 2 Subgroup 4 Exam Pattern 2026

The written examination is an online Computer-Based Test (CBT) of 200 multiple-choice questions for 200 marks, to be completed in 3 hours (2 hours of actual answering time within a 3-hour reporting/instruction/exam window per shift).

Candidates must carry Aadhaar registration proof and a valid original photo ID (Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, or Passport) to the exam centre - multi-level biometric verification is mandatory both at entry and during the exam. Electronic devices (mobile phones, calculators, log tables, digital watches, sunglasses, etc.) are strictly prohibited in the exam hall.

MPESB Group 2 Subgroup 4 Selection Process 2026

Eligibility of candidates as filled in the online application is treated as provisional and is not verified by MPESB at the application stage - actual document/certificate verification for the Patwari (Divyang) posts is done by a document verification committee constituted in the candidate's allotted district after the exam, with disability certificates further verified by the District Medical Board (and, in special cases, the Divisional Medical Board). For the other Group-2 Subgroup-4 posts, the concerned recruiting department verifies educational, technical, and professional qualification certificates of successful candidates based on the final merit list from the written exam.
