1. ITI Trade Apprentices (700 Slots)

Qualification: Passed ITI in the respective trade from a recognized institute (NCVT/SCVT).
Trades Covered: Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Mechanic (Diesel), Welder, Stenographer, COPA, RAC Mechanic.
Monthly Stipend: ₹12,000/- per month.

2. Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices (367 Slots)

Qualification: Regular Full-time Bachelor's Degree (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc Computer Science/Microbiology/Chemistry, BCA, B.Pharm Allopathy/Ayurveda, etc.) passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026.
Monthly Stipend:
- General Non-Engg Graduates: ₹14,174/- per month
- Pharmacy & Nursing Graduates: ₹16,678/- per month

Age Limit (As on 31.10.2026)

Minimum Age: 18 Years (Born on or before 31-10-2008).
Age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories as per Government rules.

NLC India Apprentice Selection Process

Merit-Based Selection: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the aggregate percentage/marks obtained in their qualifying ITI or Bachelor’s Degree examinations.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for certificate verification at Neyveli/Chennai.

Navigate to the official NLC India website, open the Careers section, and click on Trainees & Apprentices.

2.Select Advertisement:Advt. No. L&DC/04/2026.

Locate the notification for ITI & Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprenticeship Training and click on Apply Online.

3.Registration & Fill Form:Keep mobile number and email active.

Complete your basic profile registration, choose your specific ITI trade or degree discipline, and enter your academic details.

4.Upload Required Documents:PDF / JPEG (Max 250 KB per file).

Upload scanned copies of your Photograph, Signature, SSLC/HSC Marksheet, ITI/Degree provisional/degree certificate, Transfer Certificate, and Community/Disability Certificate (if applicable).

5.Final Submit & Print:

Cross-check all entered information, click submit before 09th November 2026 (5:00 PM), and save a printed copy of the submitted form for future reference.
