The Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO), under the Ministry of Railways, has released an official recruitment notification for filling 42 Senior Section Engineer (Inspection) vacancies on an ex-cadre, tenure basis.

Eligibility Criteria & Conditions

• Current Status: Candidates currently serving as Senior Section Engineer (Cadre Post) in Pay Level-7 in the Electrical or Mechanical departments of Zonal Railways or Production Units.

• Service Experience: Minimum 5 years of service experience as a regular SSE (Pay Level-7) is required.

• Residual Service: Minimum 5 years of service remaining before superannuation.

• Medical Fitness: Medical category B-1 standard.

• Cooling-Off Period: A minimum 3-year cooling-off period is required between two tenures at RDSO.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on screening of candidate records:

1. APAR Evaluation (Last 3 Years - 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25): Max 15 Marks

2. Educational / Professional Qualification: Max 5 Marks

3. Merit List & Panel Preparation: Final selection based on combined scores.
