• Electrician (Vidyutkar): UP State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC - 56 posts).

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

1. Mandatory Screening Criterion

• UPSSSC PET Scorecard: Candidate must have a valid score/scorecard in UPSSSC PET 2025.

2. Educational Qualification

• Junior Engineer (Electrical) / Technical Assistant: 3-Year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute/university.

• Electrician / Other Technical Posts: 3-Year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent, or Diploma with a valid Electrical Supervisory License (department-wise requirements).

3. Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 or 21 Years (varies by department/post rules)

• Maximum Age: 40 Years

• Age Relaxation:

  • SC / ST / OBC (UP Domicile): 5 Years

  • Ex-Servicemen & Skilled Sportspersons: As per UP State Government rules.

Pay Scale & Salary

• Level-6 Posts (JE, Tech. Assistant, Research Assistant): Pay Scale ₹9,300 – 34,800 + Grade Pay ₹4,200 (Level-6, starting Basic Pay ₹35,400 + allowances).

• Level-5 Posts (Electrician UPSRTC): Pay Scale ₹5,200 – 20,200 (Level-5).

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting: Shortlisting based on normalized scores of PET 2025.

2. Main Written Examination: Objective-type written test for shortlisted candidates.

3. Document Verification & Medical Test.
